Well, I know I speak for everyone here, that we are all just shattered Copper. Missing a golf game. You poor guy, it's just inhumane!
Hang in there, best you can.

It should peak here tomorrow night. I covered my grill.

I'm having a little spitty rainfall right now; weatherman is calling for "possibly heavy" rain overnight and tomorrow morning. So everything appears to be right on schedule with the National Weather Service -- from Copper down south and Jon up north, and me in the middle. And Phibbs, I guess.

And I'd cover my grill too, if I had a grill.

And out west in riot central Portland, another perfect summer day. Highs just below 90, no clouds to be seen.

I really do wish I could play golf like Copper. The summers around here are perfect: warm to hot, low humidity which includes pretty much no mosquitoes in the evenings. Tiki Torch nirvana.

Of course the late fall to early spring can be suxor, cloudy and rainy, no vitamin D to be found anywhere, everyone depressed and suicidal. My favorite months maybe.

It's headed this way, due overnight. It should pass just about right over my house early in the morning.

Downgraded to a tropical storm at the moment.

They closed the golf course tomorrow.

I was looking forward to playing in the storm.

I have a friend who has socially distanced herself for the last 130 days. She finally took a beach vacation this week just north of Wilmington. 2020 clearly took notice and punished her accordingly.

Absolutely. One of the coolest sites online. I have it bookmarked so I can see the suffering during the winter.

It was a nice storm, too bad it was in the middle of the night.

                        It went directly overhead.
At about 4 AM it sounded like a freight train on the roof.

The rain is just about done, just wind now, lots of branches and leaves down.

I don't think I had such of a much in rain overnight; got it now, but without wind and freight train.

Just lots of rain here. Wind wasn't bad at all, now the blue sky is coming out. 👍

Heavy rain is just starting here.

Should peak around 5-6pm. The winds anyway.
