I've just been told I'm going to be here until at least January 1st.

As I'm sure you can understand, the wife is ecstatic. She says I'm just like Victor Meldrew. I'm choosing to take this is a compliment

    I was only joking

We love working from home. Hubby wants to never have to go back to the office.

Better to have it known now, than to update the schedule every 2 weeks. My wife’s employer has been saying every week since MID APRIL that they “expect to resume business as usual in the next 2 weeks.”

My wife's remote until June. My employers have said absolutely nothing about it, and that's been deliberate.

The minute they "welcome" everyone back, I'm making a reasonable accommodation request and will be looking at what I can do if they try to screw me on unemployment.

          Please love yourself.

            Absolutely!

I told my wife back in April that she wouldn’t even see her office again. I said the pandemic will still be in place by Sept, and she will be on maternity leave by Oct/Nov (she gets 3 months paid off IF the kid is born after Oct 1 at 12:00am btw, per the new Fed law), and then will burn through her sick/vacation time for another 3 months. Then, by April, we should be moving to MN.

                Sounds great, 89th.

                Education is extremely important.

Thanks! Just to hijack Phibes' thread further. Isn't that funny about the Oct 1st thing? Federal employees who give birth even as late as Sept 30 at 11:59pm get ZIPPY, but one more minute and BOOM, you get 3 months paid leave.

Our first came 7 weeks early which, if it were to happen again, would be Sept 23rd. That would be t3h sux0rs!!!!!!!1 <knocks on wood>
