No it doesn't matter because there's no difference between a holiday created from a sitcom and a holiday created by a felon and torturer of women. Because all things that once didn't exist but now exist hold equal value.

I'd never heard of Juneteenth until a couple of years ago.
As far as I'm concerned, all American holidays are made up.
Plus, I've heard that Jerry Seinfeld's a bad tipper.

While ai personally believe that Emancipation Day should be the celebration date in the same way we celebrate the 4th of July instead of September 28th, but I’ve got no qualms celebrating the practical end of slavery as opposed to the pronounced end. And it is definitely a historical event that should be celebrated.

Obviously, there's always going to be some miserable so-and-so complaining about it, but why worry? We'll all be dead soon. If anybody lies on his death-bed complaining about how there are too many holidays, then he's a fucking idiot.
