I count at least 9 sequels to the ones he has seen, for the most part they are worth watching.

Any Bond
Rocky
Rambo
Mission Impossible
Star Wars
Batman Dark Knight
Star Trek
Terminator
Ghostbusters
Clint Eastwood - westerns and Dirty Harry
And the Marvel Comics series - Iron Man, Avengers and so on
Lord of the Rings
It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad WorldI assume everyone has watched all of these
And of course the Three Stooges

For a funny one, Waking Ned Devine. We laughed so much with this movie.
It has some nudity, but it's just old man butts.

I loved this series. Excellent, IMO. Not sure, but I think it would be better to watch the 'old' Indy movies first, and then this.

The Third ManAfter watching The Great Escape, the next week you should watch Chicken Run. To fully appreciate all the humor in Chicken Run, you need the background from The Great Escape.

The Magnificent Seven, provisionally. The 1960 one, with Yul Brynner. Provisionally because I don't remember if there was any alarming violence. The bad guys get some in the end, I think mostly just BOOM, fall down, but I don't remember beyond that.
Maybe somebody here remembers.
