We started weekly movies at our house for the pandemic.

    He’s liked:

    The Matrix
    Raiders of the Lost Ark
    Jurassic Park
    Back to the Future
    Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

And we’ve had a couple of busts:
    MP/Holy Grail
    Crouching tiger hidden dragon

    Thoughts?

    Only non-witches get due process.

Die Hard, but not the whole series
Fast & Furious, the whole series

      Education is extremely important.

I count at least 9 sequels to the ones he has seen, for the most part they are worth watching.

Other blockbusters with plenty of sequels

            Any Bond
            Rocky
            Rambo
            Mission Impossible
            Star Wars
            Batman Dark Knight
            Star Trek
            Terminator
            Ghostbusters
Clint Eastwood - westerns and Dirty Harry
And the Marvel Comics series - Iron Man, Avengers and so on
            Lord of the Rings
It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World

I assume everyone has watched all of these

And of course the Three Stooges

For a funny one, Waking Ned Devine. We laughed so much with this movie.

It has some nudity, but it's just old man butts.

Definitely Second Hand Lions. I love that movie.

Blazing Saddles. Destroy any chance he has of succumbing to wokeness.

                            The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles.

Wired: "Watch and learn what formed Indiana Jones into the adventurous man that he is, by way of The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles.
Originally a short-lived TV series in the early 1990’s (before many of our kids were born), The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles –repackaged as The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones in 1999 – is now available for streaming via NetFlix (along with the mail service for the DVDs).

This is a great series that is generally safe viewing for younger children. It serves up an interesting back-story to some of the quirks and habits of Indiana Jones."

I loved this series. Excellent, IMO. Not sure, but I think it would be better to watch the 'old' Indy movies first, and then this.
                            U U U U U U U

                            The Last Starfighter
                            U U U U U U U

Will send along others as and if I think of them.

Totally with the boy on Hidden Crouching Whatever. Wierd and boring.

After watching The Great Escape, the next week you should watch Chicken Run. To fully appreciate all the humor in Chicken Run, you need the background from The Great Escape.

The Magnificent Seven, provisionally. The 1960 one, with Yul Brynner. Provisionally because I don't remember if there was any alarming violence. The bad guys get some in the end, I think mostly just BOOM, fall down, but I don't remember beyond that.

                                          Maybe somebody here remembers.
