In her video she complains that most statues are of white men. Hey AOC...whether you like it or not, back 100-200+ years ago, it was mostly white men who were in power, or in positions of leadership, etc.
They weren’t selected to be “deified” in statue form because their pigment was white or because they pee standing up...it’s because the population of those who influenced history were mostly white men.
The constant judging of history with contemporary expectations is so myopic.

What's really
ignorantblinkeredfunny about her comments is that Mexico was, um, yeah, conquered by white men from Spain. They drove out the indigenous peoples, intermarried with them, and assimilated. So, her "old white men" trope becomes kind of silly if you extend the retrospectoscope more than about 300 years. The Spaniards were no better than anyone else this twit is complaining about and perhaps worse. At least they didn't practice child sacrifice...

L'Amour's take on culture clashes is still valid. When cultures clash, one will assimilate the other, whether peacefully or by force, eventually creating a single culture.

Yeah, that always makes me laugh when Argentina accuse the British of imperialism regarding the Falkland Islands.

Yes, it may take a while, but it does happen. Obvsiouly, one culture will keep parts of its original culture, but cannot keep the whole thing.
An example of this is the loss of languages that has occurred over time.
Not sure if that is good or bad, but it is just the way it is.
