So there’s a guy with an identical name as mine in Illinois (go ahead and pronounce the S).
I often get things meant for him. I usually reply to the sender if it seems important and tell them about their mistake.
The obnoxious emails I get are from his fraternity. I get fundraiser notices, etc. each time I reply that I’m not associated with them and please take me off the mailing list. Shockingly, the 20 year old never takes the time to do that.
Fast forward to today.
I got an invitation to an alumni pig dinner. And instead of bcc-ing everyone, the entire list is in the cc.
208 people.
Should I reply all? What should I say?
The two that come to mind:
“I hated each and every one of you fucks in college why TF would I come to this?”
Or, my favorite:
“Pig dinner? Does that mean it’s just your wives going?”

I mean, what size shitstorm are you looking for here? Let's use the hurricane category system as a model.
Category 1 - “I hated each and every one of you fucks in college why TF would I come to this?”
Category 2 - "While I'm glad you all are putting this together, please know that I hope the hate and bigotry from our college days won't follow us to the barbecue. A lot of things have happened since then, but I hope you see that I'm still the same me you knew from school, and our friendship hasn't changed. I'm just older, more comfortable with myself and <random name from email> and I finally have the courage to be happy in person together."
Category 3 - Sign them fuckers up to the Nigerian Michael Jackson fan club, German cooking newsletters, industrial cement forums, Russian crypto mailing lists, whatever you can think up.
Category 4 - Find some kind of ordinance, tax thing, whatever their BBQ violates (there's got to be one) and get whatever bureaucratic authorities involved to shut it down. (Food without a permit is possible.)
Category 5 - Sign them all up for NAMBLA, then tip off some kind of gotcha YouTube channel that you happen to have come across a supposed "BBQ" all attended by NAMBLA members and give them their information. -
@Aqua-Letifer NAMBLA? I’m not sure if it makes you a horrible person to even think of such a thing, or if it makes you a great person that you can think of these ideas but resist the temptation to implement them….

It's actually 89th's fault I know what NAMBLA is. He said it once, I called bullshit it even existed, he showed me on The Googs on either my or his CRT monitor.
It's just a good (and well-deserved) shorthand for "most evil organization ever."
