I wonder what the lawyers who gave them their talking points, were trying to avoid.

    Education is extremely important.

Yes, all 3 acted like guilty children.

They should have defended their policy, it is probably legal and certainly has lots support among their fellow loons.

Penalties under the title VI investigations that were already underway by the DoJ, and all the lawsuits from Jewish students that would follow.

Okay, but would you also agree that they could have been and should have been better prepared for their testimony? Beyond that, do you also agree that these school administrations have not done an adequate job in addressing these protests and incidents of violence and physical intimidation on campus?

Yes, as one wag put it, WilmerHale might have told them to say “it depends” but they didn’t tell them to smirk.

Beyond that, do you also agree that these school administrations have not done an adequate job in addressing these protests and incidents of violence and physical intimidation on campus?

I doubt they have, but in fairness it’s hard to say, we see videos of the incidents but there’s little reporting on any aftermath.

For a sense of perspective, just remember what Summers, Harvard's previous president, resignation was caused by.

Also remember, and contrast his scholarly publications.

Unfortunately Dr. Swain probably only represents about 98% of the country.

It is time to start ignoring that other 2%.

Apparently Harvard said they found more "examples of duplicative language without appropriate attribution.”

Lucky for her they didn't find any plagiarism.

Harvard seems to be on a speedrun to burn down centuries of accumulated prestige.

What I imagine her resignation will look like:

In all the decisions I have made in my public life, I have always tried to do what was best for the NationHarvard. Throughout the long and difficult period of WatergateHamasgate, I have felt it was my duty to persevere, to make every possible effort to complete the term of office to which you electedhired me.

In the past few days, however, it has become evident to me that I no longer have a strong enough political base in the CongressHarvard Corporation to justify continuing that effort. As long as there was such a base, I felt strongly that it was necessary to see the constitutionaleducational process through to its conclusion, that to do otherwise would be unfaithful to the spirit of that deliberately difficult process and a dangerously destabilizing precedent for the future.

But with the disappearance of that base, I now believe that the constitutionaleducational purpose has been served, and there is no longer a need for the process to be prolonged.

He "...courted her by betting a dinner date on whether he could find evidence that smoking reduces cancer..."[35] He has performed stand-up comedy at The Elbow Room, in West Hartford, Connecticut, inside of their basement comedy club "Stand-Up Underground."

It's time for Harvard to take the lead.

Replace her with an elder white male.

Let's restore order to our world.
