She's an Obama pick. She has no Presidential aspirations. The Clintons have been nuked and are has-beens. Obama can direct the party from behind the scenes and remake it, into what he wants it to be...Which is going to be a lot more socialist than Joe would be comfortable with, but not as much as the 20-percenters want.

Maybe she is but maybe it’s just creating drama? Most likely she is plan C should the vetting issues of Kamala or Susan become too tough to overcome.

The campaign announced they were holding off until the week of the 11th to make their choice.

Could be they just view that as a better time in the cycle. Or they want a little more betting time, the latter would argue for a relative unknown like Bass.

I don't see him picking Warren. If you want to win, why pick as your running mate someone who was explicitly rejected as a presidential candidate?
