Beating the Dementia Monster

For you retired guys who probably spend some time thinking about this, sort of thing.
Apparently this guy came back from the edge of Alzheimer's. He doesn't claim to be any expert on anything. But he has obviously become an expert on his own mental health.
What he believes are the reasons why he could delay/recover from/beat Alzheimer's are listed below.
I'm looking at this MIND diet that he likes.
