Granny Clampit’s fancy washer and ringer.
On second thought, it’s not. It’s something else entirely.

here is a description of the ringer on ETSY
This is an absolutely beautiful antique clothes ringer from the early 1900s with lovely antique typography, amazing aged wood and beautiful metal design details.
Over 100 years ago this would have been used to ring out wet, freshly laundered garments. Today it is a beautiful piece of farmhouse décor.
This piece is so beautifully made it's hard to believe it was created to handle daily chores. The details from the beautifully lettered advertising to the ornate metal work are truly remarkable and one of the reasons we love antiques so much. The combination of form and function that went into early pieces will never be seen again.
This piece would be beautiful displayed on a table top inside or on your covered front porch or deck and oozes farmhouse charm. It would also be simply amazing in a farmhouse decorated laundry room.
Measurements: approx. 27"W with the handle x 16.25"H x 7"D. The wooden tray is adjustable and can be extended out further if desired.
The piece weights approximately 19lbs.
All items are sold in well-loved, time-worn, vintage condition. Please read the description and review all photographs as part of the description.
