Trump suggests election delay to counter voter fraud

I get the Federalist Society point but show me where asking a question is grounds for impeachment. I would like to see what law is being referenced.

Right? It's really an odd comment.

Sorry to ruin the parade, he has already been impeached. What they want is for him to be removed from office.

Sorry, but you are incorrect. He has NOT been impeached. There was a vote on the matter, and it didn't pass.

Every time Trump acts like a knobhead, somebody says he should be impeached. So basically every day. It's getting a little tiresome.

The man simply asked a question. And the question is a valid one. Already, one district in (I think) New York has a fucked up mess on their hands because of mail in voting. They sent the ballots out with prepaid postage envelopes. The post office doesn't date stamp / cancel prepaid postage envelopes. Now you have an all democrat cast all the way up to the governor fighting over which of two democrats won their primary because they have no way of knowing which ballots arrived on time and which did not, and they'll be going into the general election with absolutely no way of knowing which democrat won the primary.
The knobheads are fucking democrats and you brain dead Trump bashers.

I think in the definition in the US government, President Trump was impeached. He was not convicted, but was impeached.
Also, I agree with @Loki and @jon-nyc , goofy comment by that guy.
No, by the definition in the US government, to be impeached articles of impeachment must be brought out of committee and presented to the house and Senate. Both houses must vote to impeach for it to be an impeachment. If both houses do not vote to impeach, you haven't been impeached. Trying to claim he was impeached even though both houses did not vote to impeach is no different from you being charged with murder, hauled into court, and declared not guilty by a jury, then me calling you a convicted murderer.

He was impeached. He just wasn’t convicted and removed.
Maybe the nation will do it in November.

Wiki: "Impeachment is the process by which a legislative body levels charges against a government official. Impeachment does not in itself remove the official definitively from office; it is similar to an indictment in criminal law, and thus it is essentially the statement of charges against the official."

@Larry Do a search on the internet (I use Duck Duck Go, but use any search engine)
Type in "Was President Trump Impeached?"
Please let me know if you can find one reference that says he was NOT impeached. I cannot find it.

I propose that we ban these micro-aggressions against individual posters living their own truths vis a vis impeachment. Nobody has a right to question another person's truth.

If one is acquitted, he hasn't been convicted of anything, and impeachment is moot.

What's interesting regarding this is how hard democrats worked at arguing that Bill Clinton was NOT impeached, and how hard they work to argue thatvTrump WAS impeached - when neither one of them were e Dr convicted of impeachment.
