yeah. The old saw about how young people rebel against the status quo, isn't quite true. They more indoctrinate than they rebel. You have to zoom in pretty far before you see any rebellion against the mainstream narratives. One of the indoctrination secrets is to convince them that there's a covert mainstream out there of conservative republicans, that they're in the process of rebelling against, as they parrot every single socially advantageous pop culture leftist idea they are fed.

Young people love to be fashionable. Just like the Gaza thing... social media has made that pressure faster and stronger, I think.
Personally, I'm bothered by how many people add the word "super" before an adjective. "Yeah I'm super excited to be here. The food was super tasty."

My point is sort of the opposite. The young people today are following popular culture that is very similar to what it was politically 30 years ago. Only today people are more strident and polarized, with much a stronger good vs evil foundation to their opinions.

I didn’t see that back then and I definitely do not see that around here now. If anything I see young people lining up increasingly behind their more traditionally conservative minded grandparents.
