Next thing you know, "trans" competitors will want to play chess in women's tournaments.

      Wait...

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

I'm not terribly sure why pool/billiards have a men's and women's categories, but I guess there is a slight physical aspect of the game, and just slightly moreso than chess. Next thin you know, the chess board will just have two Kings.

@Doctor-Phibes actually gave a pretty good explanation of why there is a women’s division in chess. There is a performance difference.

Whether that holds up for billiards is up for debate.

I was rolling my eyes a little when I first read this. I couldn’t what difference it would make, but the more I thought about it the more I realized that just letting it slide could be damaging to the women’s rights argument that is being waged right now.

I think maybe something Y-linked might make men better at pool/billiards. It’s not strength, or height, but something else. I don’t blame women at all for wanting to compete among them(genetic)selves.

Visual-spacial skills differ sufficiently (on average) to justify women’s categories in each. Trans women should follow their biology, not their heart.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

This hits me as something like Golf, where there is a separate women’s division, but women are allowed to compete in the men’s division if they would like.
