        Vac sealed or freezer burned? Vac sealed will be good as new. Freezer burned, might be fine, depending what you want to do with it. If it's going in like spaghetti sauce or chili it will be ok.

            Pork doesn't keep as long as beef. Ground meat doesn't keep as long as whole.

            Considerations:

            1. Frost free freezer or not?
            2. Upright or chest?
            3. How is the meat wrapped?

            A non-frost free chest freezer is best for long term storage. Vac seal or well-wrapped in freezer paper (you need to know what you're doing with paper) works best.

            When you brown the pork, smell it. If it's bad, you'll know it.
