WNBA, LAS VEGAS ACES SILENT AFTER CLAY TRAVIS ISSUES BOYS HIGH SCHOOL CHALLENGE
It’s been 24 hours since Clay Travis issued a challenge to the Las Vegas Aces. And so far — crickets.
The OutKick founder is challenging the WNBA champion to play a game against a boys high school basketball team. The winner gets $1 million.
It’s all because Aces guard Chelsea Gray called Clay a “dumbass” for claiming, “a good, state championship caliber, high school boys team would smoke the best team in the WNBA.”
OutKick reached out to both the Aces and the WNBA for comment, but we have not received a response.

Pretty sure that the guys would win.

The NBA incorporated the 1-and-done rule strictly on behalf of the NCAA. It used to be that many basketball players would go straight to the NBA and be competitive players. Lebron James, Dwight Howard, Kevin Garnett, Andrew Bynum... All went straight to the NBA and were star players immediately.
And remember, the US Women's Soccer Team at the height of their ability and championships lost matches to several development league teams of boys under 15... Not High School Boys, 14-year-old boys... Pubescent or pre-pubescent.
