Wonder if this is related. From the Lewiston police facebook page a few hours before this mass shooting.

Initial suspect seems to be Robert Card, about 40 years old, army vet. I found his address, but no need to share it here.

I'm not sure how big Lewiston's hospitals are but I can't imagine that 50-60 trauma cases showing up in succession is an easy task. I'm guessing if you're an ER doc in Lewiston you're heading in to work without waiting for the call.

In February 1977, when the "L" derailed and fell to the pavement in the Loop, Northwestern was overwhelmed. And that's with other casualties going to Cook County, Rush, U of I...

I believe there were "only" 11 fatalities at that time.

His Facebook profile says Auburn, which is very close, think there is a shelter in place for that town also.

Mental health failure. Guy has previously made threats to shoot up a military base. Read, but not confirmed, he's under a restraining order for a history of domestic violence. Spent two weeks in a mental facility this summer.

Guy should not have had firearms.
