Elephant Crushes Woman (old incident)
-
The elephant I was riding threw me, then rolled over me like a steamroller. All my bones broke at once
Woman recalls her experience of being crushed by an elephant ~20 years ago. And how she recovered from her injuries and trauma and changed her life since.

That was interesting article. I have to agree that elephants are HUGE!! You just don't realize how big they are until you are sitting on their back.

You don't realize how heavy they are either until they are sitting on you, too!

Just curious ... who here has sat on an elephant?
(For this question, sitting on or riding a Republican does not count. You have to have sat on or ridden a real live elephant to count.)

Actually, I've ridden a donkey (not a Democrat, afaik).
They're...different.

Me too. Fun, but a bit scary also. Here is a sign that I saw outside a Thai national park warning people about what to do if you come across a wild elephant
