Yeah, the rampant fear of it is done.
I was prescribed Paxlovid, but once I read up on it I didn't take it. My case was quite mild and it seems the rebound cases were way too frequent, plus the unpleasant side effects.
It's cost/benefit. Most docs think the high amount of rebound cases aren't worth prescribing the drug in a mild case.
I got my flu shot yesterday, I'm good until next year.
