I think we are entering a new phase...

1. Masking ain't coming back
2. Testing seems to be down.
3. Docs are holding off on prescribing Paxolovid
4. I don't think people will self-quarantine as much or as long
5. I'm already seeing a rise here in nursing home cases, like with seasonal flu

Yeah, the rampant fear of it is done.

I was prescribed Paxlovid, but once I read up on it I didn't take it. My case was quite mild and it seems the rebound cases were way too frequent, plus the unpleasant side effects.

It's cost/benefit. Most docs think the high amount of rebound cases aren't worth prescribing the drug in a mild case.
