Maybe a soon to be ex-State Dept. employee.
If you are working for any Foreign Ministry, you follow the policy of the country, even if it differs from your personal view.
A woman identified as a State Department employee has used social media to accuse President Biden and his administration of being "complicit in genocide" toward the people in Gaza and warned that it could stifle his re-election chances in 2024.
Sylvia Yacoub, who has served for more than two years as a foreign affairs officer in the State Department's Bureau of Near East Affairs, according to her LinkedIn page, has outspokenly shared her opinions on the matter through a variety of posts to X, formerly known as Twitter.

The camera guy takes it too far but interesting to watch all the same.
That was hilarious. FAFO indeed. I don’t think the camera man took it too far, especially if he put up the flyer. Btw the main thing I took away is this is such an American (or woke?) thing…being so passionate about a topic that has likely ZERO impact on your life. Funny how politics and debate are central to so many people’s identity.

Hilarious.
I didn't read carefully (again).
This was NOT Saturday Night Live.
It was "Israel’s Saturday Night Live equivalent."
My hopes for a return of rationality to SNL have been dashed.

Racist-Fluid… Nice

I don't know. If I lived that I might not find it nearly as funny.
It's closer to actual satire than our SNL has ever been.
We're pretty good at producing comedians, but Americans don't do true satire, which is funny in a justified emotions kind of a way, not funny ha-ha. And we never want to go there, we want the ha-ha.
The winners in my mind are Jewish and French media. They've always done the real stuff.

The Simpson's, for example, is satire, it's just not political satire. I haven't watched it in a long time, admittedly.

I sense some discord within Pink Floyd.

Pink Floyd.
Roger Waters: "The Israelis invented stories about beheading babies" Pink Floyd frontman doesn't miss an opportunity to attack Israel with outrageous nastiness. Waters: 'How the hell didn't the Israelis know this was going to happen?! Didn't the Israeli army hear the explosions at the bases when Hamas blew up the border fence?! There's something strange about that'

I am just flabbergasted that there is any meaningful division in this….
Democratic Nation whose leadership must ultimately be responsive to the people it governs… Israel Yes, Palestine No.
Freedom of Press… Israel Yes, Palestine No
Civil Rights… do we even need to discuss this? Hamas still requires women to wear hijabs and be circumcised. They only just repealed their “Marry Your Rapist Law” and young girls are sold as brides. In the meantime, Israel has equal rights for all including their Palestinian Citizens. People ignore the fact that almost 20% of Israel’s population are Palestinian/Arab. There are Palestinian Knesset members serving in their government…
Hamas is being supported by Iran, Russia, North Korea… All bastions of freedom, liberty, and equality…. Not…
How are people being this idiotic?
