Hamas attacks Israel

Trump speaking. He is so off the wall. But funny.
-
How much of this stuff scripted and how much off the cuff? Just rambling on and on
-
Like saying to Miriam Adelson “she must have like 60 billion in the bank”
-
I'm not entirely sure there is an apples to apples comparison between any realistic deal realistically proposed during the Biden administration, which was reacted to in that manner by conservative Jews, and this deal. I wonder what Ben Shapiro or Bari Weiss would say about that claim.
-
Putting aside any details of actual proposals, I think he’s right that leaving Hamas in power would have been seen as a betrayal under Biden but that doesn’t stop them from thinking Trump a genius for this deal.
Perhaps some believe the rest of the deal will be implemented. Perhaps others believe it won’t and Israel will have the green light to return but without the hostages to worry about. But that latter group might be underestimating how much Trump wants a Nobel.

I hate to it's deja vu all over again, but I really kind of feel like I've been here before.
Obviously, it's the greatest event in history and all that, but still.....

Releasing all the hostages is not nothing.
Clearly, it's very important on a human scale for those affected. But the idea that we've achieved peace in the ME after thousands of years of conflict is ridiculous.

It's another step in that direction.
I honestly don't want to be cynical about this, but my point was we've heard this all before.
Has anything actually fundamentally changed in the last two weeks?
I'd love to be wrong.
