I go through about 16 litres (approx. 4 US gals) each year. 2 gallons in winter blended to -45 C and 2 in the summer which contains something that cleans bug splats and tree sap more effectively than a winter blend. Probably use more in the winter because of the snirt and slush off the city roads. Always carry an extra gallon in the back of the crew cab or car.
So if such as service were readily available, you bet I would use it.

I learned after moving to Minnesota there is a big difference between using the blue and the orange washer fluid. You need orange if you really expect it not to freeze up while driving around in -20 or whatever temps. Brands/colors vary by area, but you get the idea. I had blue that was rated to like -20 and realized I needed orange which is rated to -35.

I’m similar. I’d sure use it at the pump.

Seems like a great idea, but what’s the cost to maintain the pump?

How often are you going to use it? 1-2 times a year? Maybe a bit more if you live in a heavy snow area… As a result, it’s going to just sit there for days on end without being used. It reminds me of the air pumps at gas stations that are broke down most of the time…

I do think it’s a great idea and I would use it for sure… I just wonder about the actual financials of it.

Speaking of… The gas station nearby charges $1 for 3 minutes of air. The compressor is always broke down. They never pay to maintain it. A Sheetz opened up with free air. The line is constantly full, but it has never broken down. They have the machine serviced weekly. That is excellent service.
