Actually, now that I look at that picture, I realize I should have done a better job of matching the grain on some of the pieces.

For example the grain of the rail on the bottom of the upper door on the left and the top of the upper rail of the large door on the right don't quite match. I could have chosen a better piece of plywood for the field of the door on the upper left as well...

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

That's a nice piece, George. Very nice. Most people don't have a clue just how much time and effort it takes to build something like thzt.

George is kind of my hero. l337 in the ways of computers, digital hoarding, carpentry, piano, and (cheap) scotch.

I think it’s now spelled “Geigh”.

I first noticed there's nothing next to the chest. Boris just jumped up four feet in the air to get there. Yikes!

Yeah, looks worse than a bucket full of assholes (old construction term for shoddy work). Not. You do nice work. Ditch the condo and find a place where you could have a shop.

That picture is from the dining room of our house in 2003. In the condo, it's positioned differently. It's possible to leap up there from the dining room table, but that's a jump too - distance wise, it's about 2 feet, and then up.
