The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

How does a guy live to be 73 years old and never mention to any of his 6 children that he was on a tv show with Mickey Mantle?

On the other hand I ran into Mickey Mantle in a bar in North Dallas 40 years ago and I chatted with him for a few minutes. He never mentioned being on a tv show with my father, so I guess that evens the score.

        $40 was probably a week's pay.

You should update the Wiki entry. It said the contestants start with USD$25 and play USD$5 per time. Appears Copper's dad started with USD$30 and played USD$10 each time. LOL

I understand your dad. I have never told my son that I met one Prime Minister, drank beer with another and later time met with Gorbachev. Nor that I had coffee with
h B.B. King either. But that’s another story.

The real event though was getting Johnny MacKenzie, Johnny Bucyk and Fred Stanfield to sign my colour inserts from *Hockey World * while they were trying to have lunch in the local mall.

                Elbows up!

I’m more interested to hear from bach whether Elvis mentioned that B. B. King had coffee with him as well.
