If you want to quote an excerpt from another person’s post, highlight the text you want to quote, and hit the reply button directly beneath their post, this will automatically quote, in your reply, just the part you highlighted.

On WTF, you’d “copy” something you your clipboard, then when you hit post/reply, whatever you copied to your clipboard is automatically put in [quote]...[/quote] in your post/reply window.
