Just for shits and giggles, I wonder how much hassle it would be and how long it would take to migrate all the threads.

What would be the point? We can always read them there and don’t need to kill the disk space here.

True.
The only reason would be the sake of convenience in putting them in the search function. I believe Klaus has said that that number of messages, being all text, would take up an almost trivial amount of disk space.

Could somebody who is not a moderator try whether the forum is now read-only? I changed something but I'm not sure it works. I can't test it with my own account.
