No, you didn't. You didn't have to.

      Uh, not really.

We've used UV light in rooms for a long time for infection control purposes. As for disinfectant...I knew people who were using antibacterials religiously during COVID for nasal swabbing and gargling, especially dilute H2O2.

So while it is spitballing, it's not entirely off the wall. Especially in our state of ignorance on how to treat COVID at that time.

Look at the bright side...If that had been MERS (very similar) We wouldn't be having this conversation, because a lot of us would be dead.

How quickly we have forgotten the horror stories of Italy and NY and the near complete lack of knowledge we had at that time.

Another reason you don't want Trump at the helm -- he doesn't know what he doesn't know, his ego gets in the way of him ever admitting that he doesn't know; that's lethal when dealing with crises with many unknowns.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump appeared to confuse former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown with former California Governor Jerry Brown during a press conference on Thursday as he related a fantastical story of nearly dying in a helicopter crash.

Speaking from his Florida home on a variety of topics, Trump related a tale of almost going down in a helicopter with Willie Brown, who briefly dated Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris several decades ago.

“I went down in a helicopter with him," Trump said. "We thought maybe this is the end. We were in a helicopter going to a certain location together, and there was an emergency landing. This was not a pleasant landing, and Willie was, he was a little concerned."

                    but

But Brown, a longtime Democratic power broker who also served as speaker of the California State Assembly, told the San Francisco Chronicle after Trump’s press conference that he was never in a helicopter with the former president.

                    and

While president, Trump toured fire-ravaged portions of California in 2018 via helicopter alongside then-California Governor Jerry Brown, NBC News reported.

A representative for former Governor Brown told the New York Times there was no emergency landing and Harris never was discussed during the flight.

As Nikki Haley said, "The first party to get rid of its old man candidate will win"

When we get energy down, you know, this was caused by their horrible energy—wind, they want wind all over the place. But when it doesn’t blow we have a little problem. This was caused by energy. And bacon, apparently.

Well, maybe they can afford bacon. I suspect the bacon reference harkens back to his video where he was comparing grocery prices before and after Biden.

BTW, Trump and Vance have done 37 (combined) interviews vs. Kamala and Walz one (combined).

Remember when Trump never used to do press conferences when he was in office?

                                      No, I don't.

As of right now, does that matter?

In the grand scheme of things, does any of this really matter? The universe if 13 billion years old, mankind has been here 300,000 years. Even at his admittedly advanced age, he hasn't seen much of it, and four more years of Donald Trump, whilst annoying and unpleasant, is likely to be a lot less important than both he and others would have us believe.

                                        I was only joking

This was really caused by energy, and also their unbelievable spending. They are spending us out of wealth, actually, they’re taking our wealth away, but it was caused by energy.”
