I saw one UAW worker interviewed who was complaining that her salary was "capped" at $25/hour. Being a new hire (<4 years) she's subjected to that limitation, whereas others, with more seniority, are not. I have no idea if that's true, and I'm too lazy to look into it, having just awaked from a nice nap.

And $25 per hour = $52K a year before overtime. So a wage that’s pretty damn close to mean in the state and without a college degree and the debt that comes with it…
