We have a memory foam topper on our queen-sized bed. It's...okay, but gets a little warm at times.

Does anyone use one or have suggestions?

I'm a big fan of foam. We have hybrid and full foam mattresses on all our beds - so I don't have a specific recommendation for toppers.

That said - that blue cooling gel foam stuff works. At least long enough to get you to sleep. I have it on my pillows.

I have been using the My Pillow Mattress Topper for 3 years now, I think it is great. It is still like new, firm, no sagging or wear.

It is a California King size, on top of a mattress sitting in a waterbed frame.

I think it is this one: https://www.mypillow.com/mattress-toppers/3-inch-mypillow-mattress-topper

I have yet to find memory foam that doesn’t make me feel hot. Karla likes our topper, so I deal with it, but I need a ceiling fan and the thermostat set to 65. Even then I’m kicking the blanket off in the middle of the night.

We have a Tempurpedic king and love it. It's ten years old and sooo comfortable.

No. They are expensive, but well worth it. You spend 1/3 of your life in it, so it's worth the investment.

If you're Aqua's sister you spend 2/3 of your life in it!

@George-K if you access to a Costco membership go and see what they have in stock (or even online).

All the vendors talk a big game about how their foam is different - but it's all more similar than it is different. Foam is very comfy, but it just runs hotter than springs.

Sheets can make a big diff too. Obviously things like microfiber and flannel will be hotter - but specific cotton weaves like percale promote air flow.
