    Fairfax County Vs. Youngkin

    https://www.fox5dc.com/news/fairfax-county-schools-defy-gov-glenn-youngkins-new-model-policies-for-transgender-students

You know what’s absurd? The big concern over the Youngkin guidelines is the fact that schools can not socially transition a student without parental consent. How fucked up is that?

I saw this on Facebook I think (LD?) but it was a good point. Imagine if schools were baptizing children without telling parents.

I mean, doesn’t the whole lack of parental consent and notification violate the 14th amendment? How has this not been taken to the courts?

            It is beyond comprehension.

Which legal argument is stronger. Defying state policy or grasping to anti-discrimination law? I’d argue the latter is a weak, indirect tactic.

The children that we are talking about are what we used to call mental cases.

The law doesn't apply the same for mental cases.

                  It’s absolutely a mental problem. But #tolerance!

The better analogy would be to imagine that they started giving Adderall to kids who self-ID as having ADHD without either informing the parents or confirming the diagnosis with a professional.

These schools see “affirmation of gender” as a simple act of kindness. But in reality it is a powerful psychosocial intervention which is itself subject to iatrogenic harm. It’s telling them ‘this is the right course for you’, often putting them on a path that leads to sterilization, and surgery.

I think it varies. Some simply see it as a kindness, but some see it as a Holy Purpose of theirs and take delight and glee in reporting abnormally large numbers of students that are socially transitioning.

No matter their intent, the simple fact that they feel justified in obscuring these facts and not consulting with the parents let alone allowing the parents to take the lead in these conversations is abominable and shows a staggering level of narcissism that is endangering these children. Loss of licensure is not enough. Any teacher or administrator that took it upon themselves to assist a child’s transition without parental consent needs to face criminal charges. I am simply flabbergasted that ANYBODY can approve. It is so fundamentally flawed and frigging evil.

I blame Hilary “it takes a village” God Damn Clinton and everyone that believes similar.
