About 10 years ago I had an older GoPro, but never used it much and it was a bit clunky to use. For example, had to get a waterproof case if I wanted to use it under water, and it only had a single button (that beeps) to make any changes.

Last summer, I bought a cheaper underwater camera to take pics of my kids at the pool. It did the trick but was jittery (no real smoothing feature) and I was less than impressed. So recently I picked up the GoPro 11. Wow... how times have changed. Touchscreen interface, bluetooth upload of videos to my phone, naturally water proof, and my GOODNESS the quality of the videos is as you'd expect. Crystal clear 4K with various framerate and lens width options. Gotta say... very much impressed.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

Those cases have come along way too. I remember a flexible plastic case I'd take when we'd go to the beach.
