We had some serious, serious, winds here at the condo. Warning sirens from our town and neighboring communities. TV interrupted with weather alerts, alerts over the phones...
It was quite dramatic.

@George-K Wow, wow, wow. No joke! Does your condo have exposure (windows etc) towards where storms normally come from? Back in Virginia, one unplanned benefit from our condo was that we faced south and most storms came in from the north/west so we were often shielded whereas the building across from us you could see get pummeled by storms often. Even some flooding through the balconies at times.
