I think there is also something with copyright and use of actual brand names.

But there's not with stealing thousands of other images and illustrations to make the AI images?

Yeah, that's definitely true.

Even so, though, there are logo-making AI platforms now that do pretty much just that: feed it some existing logos, have it spit out a ripped off facsimile in about 8 seconds. You can get it in SVGs, too.

But it's fun! Hahah it's fun ripping people off and destroying livelihoods!

Unfortunately no. I have hear that they are starting to get sue a lot from various artists, authors, etc.
