It can project an all-encompassing movie - edge to edge.
Ugh, I think I've mentioned this before but in college we had to come up with an invention. Mine was a way to film a movie in (almost) 360 degrees so that a user can put on a headset (or go into a large 360 auditorium) and look in any direction they want to watch the movie and feel "part" of a scene. This kind of reminds me of that.
Disney did that when I was a kid. It was a 360 screen that you stood in the middle of the room. Very cutting edge for its time, around 1967.

@Mik oh cool, didn't know. Fortunately, I sold the rights to my idea to @Aqua-Letifer for a free McMuffin

I don't remember that. But I'll check the glovebox today, if it turns up it's all yours.

Link to videoIt does look a little like Apple have identified their target market as people with
way more money than sensea significant disposable income, and are acting accordingly. -

A really good headset could be a real game changer for the way we live.
How so?

I read an article that Apple may have set the price so high because they dont want to sell too many, at least not initially. Want to get a large library of apps, etc, make sure all the technology is working well, and then will probably introduce a lower priced model.
