Well sort of. My daughter just turned on her Kindle Tablet for Kids and accidentally clicked on a “suggested read”. Wtf, she’s 5.
And while she’s doing great at learning how to spell, the extent of her gender awareness can be demonstrated in the debate she had with our 2 year old son about why girls have vaginas and boys have penises (that was their convo in the bathroom this morning as our son is going through potty training right now).

I’ve been monitoring what comes up on Finley’s tablet. So far the only troubling thing was the Blues Clues YouTube Gay Parade video.

At this rate, in 100 years, everyone will be lgbtx.
Count me in for HR purposes.

@89th, will you be boycotting Amazon over this?
I'll be nonbinarycotting Amazon.

What a queer thing to say.

No, people vastly overestimate the impact of their protest. After living just outside DC for 40 years, I could see multiple protests per DAY in the city, sometimes with hundreds of thousands and national media coverage. Almost always, zero changes.
Plus, we’ve been unimpressed by the Amazon Fire tablet for kids we got, and were planning on stopping usage of it anyway.

I thought you said it was a Kindle?
