    @Doctor-Phibes said in President Pence?:

    Oh God, Trump would go freaking ballistic.

    He has already. How could you tell the difference?

    He'd start blowing red meat out of his ass.

      Were there any candidates that were all that strong in 2016? 2024 has a very strong bench.

        Jeb was viewed as strong to unbeatable. Seems most others were running for VP or name recognition

          I never saw him that way. I also don't think the country wanted more Bushes or Clintons. I'm not sure name recognition will help Michelle Obama either. She has no real qualifications.

            If she managed to win the primary and then ran against Trump, I think there's a fair chance he'd say things that were so wholly inappropriate that she could quite possibly get elected.

              Tons of people would vote for her as a lesser evil than Trump. Further tons would be super excited to vote for her as a beacon of hopey changiness.

                Everyone would vote for her to avoid being racist.

                    Hey, I'm religious, but it's a little heavy on the God influence. Nonetheless, even before VP he's always been almost a cartoonishly-accurate portrayal of a politician looking to get ahead without rocking the boat or making any waves. He earned tons of credit by how he handled the false 2020 election claims... but is a pretty big yawn compared to others on the GOP's deep bench.

                    The ad doesn't show/mention Trump once, either.

                      If God really loves Mike Pence so much, why didn't he give him any charisma?

                          Absolutely no way he will get the nomination. Too "Trumpy" for the anti-Trump people and not "Trumpy" enough for the pro-Trump people.
