Just Sayin' . . .

Yep. Saw it when it came out. Was great at the start but ended way beyond where it should've.
-
I lasted four seasons. Just became the same old, same old.
How did it end?
-
Yeah, I caught some comment like that; I think you were not alone. I'm thinking maybe that's why they pulled the plug. Maybe they felt like the thrill was gone.
I'm consuling myself that it's on Netflix and when I get back in the teewee groove Ima jump right on that.
Proving that as a door closes a window opens, I am also consoled that I discovered the marvelous wonderful Kodaline.

I found the original concept just so interesting - unknown disease which spreads like crazy. No cause, no cure. Survival is paramount.
And then it just degenerated into one bad guy camp after another fighting the good guys. Kill off some major characters and throw in some good zombie gore/porn.
Meh...

Game of Thrones with zombies instead of white walkers.
Well, yeah. The White Walkers were, I guess, zombies of a kind. But at least GoT had the good sense to limit that storyline to just a season or two, rather than spreading it all over the place.
God, I hated what TWD became.

They’re still milking both GOT and TWD with spin-offs.

Yeah, I watched about 3 episodes of Fear the Walking Dead. Same old, same old.
Didn't watch House of the Dragon. Any good?
-
I haven’t seen either having lost interest in the originals.

TWD is one series I watched entirely. Agree that the last season felt rushed but overall I really enjoyed the series for the last decade. I was usually about a year or so behind the episodes airing btw.
-
I usually watch series long after the hub bub. For example earlier this year I finished Breaking Bad. Next up I think I’ll watch Band of Brothers.
