Did anyone watch The Walking Dead when it was on?
As you might remember, I've been without television for many years. I only recently discovered TWD, well after it was gone.
I think I have never been so god. damn. mad about anything in my life as I am about missing that show. Not just the show, which looked really neat, but the whole community that grew up around it -- how the fans and cast/crew melded into a thing of togetherness. I feel like I really missed something special.
Grump.

Yep. Saw it when it came out. Was great at the start but ended way beyond where it should've.

Yeah, I caught some comment like that; I think you were not alone. I'm thinking maybe that's why they pulled the plug. Maybe they felt like the thrill was gone.
I'm consuling myself that it's on Netflix and when I get back in the teewee groove Ima jump right on that.
Proving that as a door closes a window opens, I am also consoled that I discovered the marvelous wonderful Kodaline.

I found the original concept just so interesting - unknown disease which spreads like crazy. No cause, no cure. Survival is paramount.
And then it just degenerated into one bad guy camp after another fighting the good guys. Kill off some major characters and throw in some good zombie gore/porn.
Meh...

Game of Thrones with zombies instead of white walkers.
Well, yeah. The White Walkers were, I guess, zombies of a kind. But at least GoT had the good sense to limit that storyline to just a season or two, rather than spreading it all over the place.
God, I hated what TWD became.
