My mom always put salt on watermelon and I liked it fine, but haven’t done it in years. Now it’s mostly like Cats… just cold watermelon, but occasionally I really enjoy a watermelon, mint, and feta skewer with a balsamic glaze.
Karla actually makes the watermelon husk look like a Weber grill, and we lay the skewers across. The balsamic glaze looks like grill marks. It is tasty as hell and the presentation is fun.

With you there. In summer I normally have a big, covered salad bowl of watermelon chunks in the fridge.
