Nothing wrong with a sirloin!

Everybody’s always talking about filet, strip, or ribeye… Tonight I bought a pack of thick sirloins, beat them for a few minutes with a mallet, tossed my steak rub on, and grilled them for 10 minutes… They turned out as good as a strip steak, imo..,

There is a reason for that ...sirloin has more taste than many other cuts

Can we please realize LD said he beat his meat for a few minutes, rubbed it, then spent 10 minutes until he was done? Honestly that's 9 minutes longer than I expected, so I applaud his efforts.
Seriously though, maybe it's a blessing, maybe it's ignorance, but I'll take a (medium) cooked steak any day, any cut, and yes if you add rub (etc) to it, I am the least picky eater and it all tastes great to me. Pretty much the only things I do not care for are mushrooms and the fat on chicken/steak.
