Why bother trying to minimize it?
We can see what it says.
It says there is evidence that Joe is a traitor and a criminal.
Maybe you should do something about it. Write your Congessman. Send a letter to the editor. Convene a meeting of concerned citizens in local community hall.
Start a thread expressing your outrage and indignation on a social media forum like TNCR.
Dig a hole in your backyard and scream into it for all the neighbours to hear.

You can’t see what it says because it hasn’t been released, if it exists at all.
I don’t minimize the “ickiness” of Hunter, I’ve said here that I would love to see him arrested, if what we read about the evidence against him is true.
I’ve also given some thought about what we could conceivably do about politician’s family members trading on their name and it’s hard to imagine what we could realistically do to prevent it.
You can demand financial transparency and ethics rules for the candidates themselves, but it’s not like (say) your uncle running for office could obligate you to submit financial disclosures.

The thing that got me about that was her 'perfect victim' routine. Now I understand that in many instances a victim might not scream or fight back. But she was in a dressing area in Bergdorfs. One small yell would have kiboshed the whole thing.

It’s been a problem a long time. Hunter’s case is pretty egregious. The Trump family was probably the worst offender between Ivanka’s Chinese interests and Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states pouring money into Trump properties.
But it goes back as far as I can remember. Remember Billy Beer?

Need to note the law. It's a sexual harassment law. Sexual harassment law, IMO, is some of the most nebulous, wishy-washy, absolutely shitty law that exists.
Trump was not convicted of rape, he was found guilty of sexual harassment. That could range from inappropriate touching to trying to steal a kiss.
As a pretty damn good labor attorney told me one time, these violations are purely a matter of the victim's perception.
I think it's an entire area of law we need to take a very hard look at and refine.

Billy Beer did not to my knowledge involve foreign interests.
