I would say the USSR won the war but lost the ensuing peace. The current regime is losing a war of its own creation and the future peace at the same time. Quite an accomplishment of political ham handedness and leadership incompetence.
By the way that is a rather nasty website of reactionary bile.

Maybe to you, but although I knew a good many Russians had immigrated to Israel, I had no idea it was likely the third most popular language in Israel .
