Bloodbath?
Eighty percent of Bud Light drinkers ordered something else this week, Brewhouse owner Alex Kesaris said — while the 20% who did order Bud Light "weren’t on social media and hadn’t heard yet" about its new transgender pitch person.

Good.

I wonder what they’re buying instead, and hope it doesn’t interfere with their medication too much

I hear Yuengling sales are up…

@LuFins-Dad oh very upscale. Do they crook their pinkies when they drink that?

I haven't been in a cowboy bar in years, but it would be an absolute scientific experiment to haul you into one. The kinetic energy generated by your light speed ejection through the door would peg the scale.

Do cowboys drink a lot of Bud Light?

Some do.

Why?
I have an American friend who walked into a pub in Newcastle and asked for a Bud Light in quite a loud voice. Apparently the entire place went completely silent. If you've ever been to Newcastle, you'd understand this is pretty unusual. It's just possible the women there could kick the cowboy's ass.
Even funnier, he asked them if he could try some free samples of the various beers. The bartender was rather reluctant, is how he put it.

On second thought, you may be right.
I doubt many guys who used to drink Bud Light still do.
You have superior Beer-fu.

Remember this? These are my people!
Admittedly, this is Manchester. It would be a bit upscale in Newcastle. There's no blood or vomit on any of the police officers.

Oh please, Guinness is upscale?
We get it. You don’t like American beer. Too bad. It’s not all crap. Even the light stuff. I’ll occasionally have a Miller Lite if I want a couple of beers and don’t want to feel bloated as hell. So sorry if that offends your sensibilities. Hell, I’ll even get a couple of cans of Budweiser if I’m mowing the lawn or working outside. It goes down well on a hot sweaty day…Though Pacifico is better…
But Yuengling? There’s nothing wrong with the beer. It’s a pretty decent lager. It’s a better lager than Guinness is a stout, at any rate…

I haven't drunk Guinness in 30 years. I'm English. Guinness is Irish.
And I do like American beer. I drink pretty much nothing else, as it happens.
Bud Light is something else.
And calm down about Yuengling - I was laughing at Bud Light drinkers, not Yuengling.
Admittedly, the Bud Light jokes have probably got a bit stale at this point. Which is ironic.

You do, but the constant harangue about the beer itself completely misses the point. The people hurt here are stockholders who have watch their assert value plunge do to this misguided attempt at inclusivity. The VP of marketing has just killed her career.
