Link to videoThe video identifies the long guns as assault rifles. It actually had an AR-15 and a pistol-caliber carbine. I suspect the carbine and its handgun were 9mm.
At least it had pretty butterfly artwork on its AR mag...

People have said there wasn't a resource officer. It's a private school and I don't know if they had the funds.
What I do know, is the only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. Schools are target rich environments, where the targets cannot fight back. That's why pieces of feces like this waste of human flesh attack them, for whatever sick reasons they have.
At least two people in that school should have been carrying a weapon. They should be trained by local law enforcement and made to requalify at the same intervals as local law enforcement.
People like this pervert are cowards. They want easy prey and a path to glory. I'd rather give them prey with sharp teeth and a path to Hell.
Fourteen minutes. From call to dead murderer that is not a bad time for the police, but it's an eternity for the people being terrorized and killed.

That’s a highly inaccurate point, George. The shooter at the gay nightclub was non-binary and the one at the drag show identifies as trans.

I am more and more thinking the Gender Dysphoria is a symptom, not the underlying problem. Placating the symptom does not solve the issue.

Seems reasonable to consider it a form of self-hatred, and a desire to start anew.
These people expect others to accept them as some grotesque caricature of whatever gender, but they couldn't even accept themselves when their feels were at odds with their relatively normal appearance.

Some people will charge excessive force, since the officer shot her while she was down. Those people don't know how the real world works... Officers will keep shooting a perp as long as a firearm is within reach and the perp is moving.
I saw that for a fact one day at work.

I think we will. I think the manifesto will get released quickly. The Nashville Police Chief hasn’t seemed too interested in protecting sensibilities… I mean, he never even hesitated in calling her “her”. And I am sure he is getting all kinds of hell from trolls today for calling her “her”. I think he won’t be interested in placating anyone…
Beyond that, are there any statutes that can limit charges to strictly being hate crimes or domestic terror charges? Not that it matters in her case, but if we find out that she had an associate aware of her plans or if it’s found that there were online groups that assisted her, that could be extremely significant. But the domestic terror charges fall into Federal purview, and I don’t see them pushing it very far.
