    I have an old watch - it's a 1968 vintage Omega Seamaster.

It rattles in the case, and, of course, doesn't run.

    Is it worth repairing?

Try googling or checking eBay for used/collector's prices for that specific model and vintage.

Other than that it will be down to your subjective sentimental value.

        Good luck.

I have almost zero sentimental value associated with it. For me, watches are tools that do a specific job - tell the time.

My Apple watch does that - and more.

When the Omega died (and I don't remember when that was), I was content with Seikos and Pulsars - each was about $100.

Omega Seamasters go for $400 to $700 on eBay.

Might be worth the repair if I can resell.

If you repair it, it’s about time.

Wonder if, 55 years hence, there will be anyone asking whether it would be worthwhile to repair a 2023 Apple Watch. 😄

It probably won’t be cheap to repair.

I need to send my IWC in. Probably cost me 3-500. But that’s a 5k watch new.
