Saw that this morning. Japan is a quickly aging country.
But the statistics show that young people are replacing the old at a rate of 2:1. Which is to say there is a net youngening, probably due to youth in asia.

Here's a fun fact. When I was a kid, I got a number of phrases wrong.
For example, we had a grape arbor next to our house. I thought it was "great barber". And to your point above, I thought the controversial topic was "youth in asia" until I learned it was "euthanasia".
