After last week's inflation numbers, time spent on the evening newscasts of ABC, NBC and CBS:

All I know is I just went and got a 6" club sandwich from Subway and it was $8. Add in a "combo" (chips/drink) which was $3.69, and tax, and the total was over $12. A few years ago it would've been like 7 or 8 bucks.

Similarly, getting McDonalds for 2 kids and 2 adults is about $35. That's crazy.
