I watch plenty of Reddit videos. For better or worse, I'm intrigued by human reactions whether it's during a magic trick, a police chase, or a rescue effort. Honestly, the videos from after the earthquake are hard to watch, not from a graphic perspective, but from a human rescue perspective. In summary, videos include:
- Under a big pile of debris and suffocating cement/powder, a (deceased) father was found covering his two young boys, one or both of whom survived.
- A 4 year old girl was found trapped with her 2 year old brother, she was keeping him in good spirits for about 40 hours
- A baby was born under the rubble, her mother dying in childbirth but the baby rescued
- A 2 year old boy was found trapped, but alive, and was fed water from a bottle cap as they rescued him
- An entire family was freed after 40 hours of removing rubble over their house
It's tragic, but also the human effort to help others is inspiring.
