Is this the guy who terminates Kaine's political career?

I remember when I lived in Virginia, overall I liked Kaine. Probably wouldn't vote for him over most conservatives, but he wasn't too bad.
Also, Hung Cao just lost his race for a congressional seat. But the statewide electoral dynamic may change his fortune.

Reminder, the 10th district is Loudoun County and parts of Fairfax and Prince William counties. His success there was primarily due to the school backlash. If he could get the same numbers in 2024 in that area, he could win, but it will be a struggle.

Is he an attractive candidate? Does he campaign well?

@Jolly nobody knows. The credentials look fine, but the reason that he got that close against Wexton is primarily the School Board and Biberaj blowback. I’m sure he’ll do fine in other parts of the state, but he’ll need to be within 10 points of Kaine in FFXCO, LOUCO, and Prince William to win. I don’t know if there will be the same fervor in 24, especially if there is a school board shift in 23.
Ultimately his chances will depend a lot on Youngkin.
